This evening, the band will unite once again – and this time it’s over ribs. As they chow down on some down-home cooking, the mates will discuss their feelings on the holiday season, Santa and whiskey. Can they remain in a room together long enough to get some footage… only time with tell.

Holly is getting a Christmas gift from On the Leesh! Currently, we’re in the process of revamping the website for the show. Holly’s been a hit webseries for over two years now and we think it’s time the site gets a facelift.

[note: once again my apologies for the lateness of this next installment… work has been crazy but it’s been all good things!]
Finally! Globe Aware’s official start day arrives! I woke up with such anticipation for the days to come. What would we be doing? What would the group be like? Would they be open to the documentary? Globe Aware had said that they were going to mention it to the other volunteers, but I wasn’t counting on anything. That morning, Joe and I had a hearty breakfast in the hotel’s dining room and made our way back to our room to gather all of our things. The butterflies in my stomach were whirling like nobody’s business as the time ticked by. I continued packing, Joe continued organizing the equipment and my butterflies seemed to be reproducing. Wow! I guess I’m really nervous, I thought. Very quickly I realized that it was not butterflies at all. I ran passed Joe and made my way to the bathroom. (For those of you who are now rolling your eyes at my potty recollections, too bad – you wanted an honest account so here goes!) I’m sure I don’t have to go into more detail than simply noting that I got to know the bathroom quite well that morning. I believe it’s a universal enough feeling to be able to stop there, don’t you.
The time ticked by…
I finally opened the door and almost slammed into the camera – leering at me. Seems while I was busy taking care of my business, Joe was busy taking care of his. He’d waited in the room, red record light flashing, beckoning me to well… Flush.
I. Had. The. Poops.
Downing the recommended amount of Immodium, I yelled at Joe to turn the camera off and checked out of the hotel. Goodbye bathroom… Hello long journey to Ho.
I hope it’s not a bumpy ride.

The band discovered some photos of them lying around and felt the need to comment. Here are some of their thoughts, in their words.

t’s difficult, being the front man in an international rock band. all the late nights, boozing and drugging with celebrities and models. a fella gets exhausted, keeping up with all the sexually active women i encounter. that’s why i get at least twenty-four hours of sleep a week, preferably on wednesday. – juice

While the On the Leesh team scatters around the New York/Massachusetts area for the holidays, we didn’t want to leave before wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving!
Melissa might be checking out the parade this year, so I thought it might be appropriate to put this pic on here rather than a turkey (though I did find a picture of a turkey in a bikini… festive, no?).
Whether you’re having tofurkey or the real thing, we hope this year’s festivities bring little family stress and absolute deliciousness!

In two weeks, OTL is shooting 3 more episodes of The In-Betweens of Holly Malone. Among the new episodes is a Holly Malone Christmas Special! While there’s no singing or dancing, there is vodka and anatomy shaped baking tins. We’re all holiday people over here, so we figured why shouldn’t Holly be as well!
Stay tuned… it’ll be coming out in mid-December!

Yesterday Britain’s Greatest Rock Band got together to shoot some more episodes of The Sexually.
Juice sleeps it off with an unidentified woman…
PJ Deboy (Johnnie) and Jeff Lycett (Juice) have a laugh between takes…
Getting all the boys under one roof has proved too volatile for TV, so we dragged them outside onto the streets of NY. Freezing their butts off in Central Park, we managed to squeeze out the band’s greatest mystery to date – how did they find Johnnie and get him back?

And clearly even the cold doesn’t keep them from their usual insanity.

On the Leesh has been working with experienced dog trainer Sam Schmidt on dog training podcasts. This week, we shot three videos for Sam that will help viewers who’d like to get a dog, who would like to learn how to deal with a teething puppy and who need to teach their dog how to stay. Sam is an easygoing, patient trainer that works with dogs with all sorts of issues.
Although Sam was extremely easy and fun to work with, Alicia, Jess and I did have some difficulty concentrating due to the incredibly adorable dogs. How in the world are you supposed to focus when you have a 4 month old puppy running around? The dogs were too cute for words and also happened to be incredibly professional. While their cuteness may have had nothing to do with Sam, their happy nature and the fact that they were incredibly well-behaved should certainly be attributed to her talent as a trainer.
We look forward to meeting more of Sam’s clients during our next round of shooting!
Meanwhile, the first three episodes should be available in early 2009.

On the Leesh Productions is currently in pre-production on two more comedic short films. The first called, Milestone is a short comedy about what a woman’s friends will do to help her through a divorce. The second is currently titled Pet Peeve – a short story about personal growth through dating.
Both shorts will be read tomorrow night at the office as part of an internal invited workshop/reading.
Milestone is not yet cast, but is currently slated to shoot in February in Brooklyn, NY. Pet Peeve is still in its gestation period, so location, cast and crew have not been set yet.
OTL does love short film!
